FAQ

Will you make me a board?
Yes, I'll be more than happy to make you a board.

Why don't you have specific models for me to look at?
All the boards I make are 100% hand shaped and custom for each customer.

Do you have a price list?
Due to the nature of building custom surfboards, every board comes in at a different price. The ballpark figure is about $425 for a white shortboard on up to $800+ for a multicolored custom longboard.

What is the best way to get in touch with you?

What type of fin systems do you use?
I prefer Futures, glass-on's, and your standard single fin box.

Do you glass your own boards?
No. I have my boards glassed at Almar Surfworks in Santa Cruz, California. They do wonderful work and are the same fine people who are responsible for all of Michel Junod's wonderfully colored boards.

What is your average turnaround?
Depending on blank shipments, I'm usually around 30-60 days. Somes as fast as 2 weeks. Depends on multiple things. CrouchCraft is growing slowly, but until this becomes my sole source of income, I do have to make a buck and pay rent in this wonderful little city. So there's that.

What do you need from me if I am wanting a custom board?
Height, weight, type of surfing you do, your experience level, maybe swing by with your current board and we'll talk shop. A deposit helps too. Bank on a $200 deposit.

Where did you learn this?
Self taught. I've been in the ocean since I left highschool, so the time spent surfing and riding many many boards has helped my journey. There are a few people along the way that have given me pointers along the way. So thanks for that. We all learn and grow together
